Role and Responsibilities:
- Performs safety check on forklifts daily
- Pull stock from inventory as per information on the packing list received from the order clerk
- Ensure all trucks or containers are loaded in such a way that products arrive safely
- Ensure all orders are signed off on the bill of lading by the drivers
- Check and sign all receiving documents after ensuring the incoming product is not damaged and is correct as per the purchase order
- If damage is present fill out required damage report damage to purchasing department or the head of the department or any member of management
- Follow all work instructions relating to the warehouse position
- Retain copies of all required paperwork and return to the order clerk
- Rotate stock as required
- Keep warehouse neat and clean
- Complete monthly cycle counts
- Strong safety focus
- High School diploma or GED required
- 3-5 years shipping and receiving experience preferred
- Forklift certification required
- Experience in a manufacturing company required
- Ability to keep neat and organized records and files with attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Able to perform basic physical tasks such as lifting 50lbs
