Electrical Engineering Student Intern (IS)

Our EAPC's Industrial Services division is seeking an Electrical Engineering Student Intern. This position would provide support to an Electrical Engineer on various industrial manufacturing projects.

As an IS Electrical Engineering Student Intern, you will:

• Work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline, in-house team of engineers, architects, and drafting specialists working primarily with AutoCAD
• Assist engineers and CAD Specialists with completing project design documentation, calculations, research, CAD drawings and/or reports
• Assist project engineers and CAD Specialists in preparing project cost estimates, reports and design documents
• Assist engineers with calculations and CAD design
• Assist engineers in preparation of reports, department procedures, techniques and standards
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current engineering student with at least 2 years completed in Electrical Engineering curriculum
• Interest in industrial manufacturing
• Design experience a plus
• Must be proficient in MS Office and basic office equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

This position will report directly to an Electrical Engineer and will work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline, in-house team. This is a non-benefitted position with variable hours contingent on capacity and availability.
