Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will represent our company providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
Duties:
Assist with rooming patients to include obtaining vital signs, history and physical, update/add medications, cleaning rooms and cleaning/sterilizing instruments, stocking exam rooms, assist Dr. with patients and/or procedures as needed. Will need to pre-cert medication authorizations, testing or scans, Will need to do referrals, and medical release requests.
-Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly
- Manage email correspondence and respond to inquiries
- Maintain office cleanliness and organization
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Handle customer inquiries and provide information about services
- Proven experience in customer support or related roles
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is required
- Knowledge of medical receptionist duties is needed
- Ability to proofread documents for accuracy
- Familiarity with clerical tasks and office procedures
- Experience in customer service roles is beneficial
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous
