Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Service Department team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collections. This role will also serve as backup CSR, answering phones and routing calls to appropriate office personnel.

Responsibilities

• Process and record accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up as necessary.
• Prepare and send out invoices to clients in a timely manner.
• Analyze account discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients regarding their accounts.

Experience

• Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess financial data effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for client interactions.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
