Job Summary:
We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing patient appointments, and ensuring smooth operations within the healthcare facility.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Update and maintain patient records in the electronic health record system
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care
- Verify insurance information and obtain pre-authorizations when necessary
- Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the reception and waiting areas
