Early Bird ChildCare Centers is celebrating our 49th year of providing care and education to young children. We are looking for high-energy individuals who love to play and educate our youngest students to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the care of infants
- Create a fun and safe learning environment through play, activities, and child-centered conversation
- Follow the childcare schedules and routines that ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish positive relationships with our Early Bird families through daily health checks
- Always maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications:
- Previous experience caring for infants in a childcare setting
- Passion for teaching young children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- High energy personality that will last throughout the work day
- Eagerness to learn new skills and expand knowledge in the field of early childhood
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but not necessary.
- Our work grades for year-round workers (not summer employees) are as follows:
$15 - part-time employee during preferred hours
$16 - full-time employee, or part-time employee during undesirable hours
$17 - full-time employee with a CDA, or head teacher with a plan of study toward a CDA
$18 - credentialed, full-time head teacher
Additional pay is given for undesirable hours, additional administrative duties, and additional certifications or degrees.
