What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Technician position at Early Bird Pediatric Therapy?
The Physical Therapy Tech, under the direct, on-site supervision of the Physical Therapist or Certified Physical Therapist Assistant, will carry out procedures and tasks for which he/she has been trained and deemed competent.
The following is a summary of major essential functions of the Physical Therapy Tech. Other duties may be performed as directed. Specific functions may, from time to time, change.
Schedule
Monday-Thursday 1:00 PM-7:00 PM or depending on clinics need
-Assist our Therapist with patients.
-Cover Front Desk/Scheduler if needed.
-Housekeeping
-Available to travel to any of our other locations if needed
-Assit with duties required around the clinic.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

-High School Diploma Or GED required.
-Must be Bilingual.
-Must have experience with working with children.

Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. CPR certification for all age groups
3. 1 year as a Physical Therapy Tech preferred
4. Knowledge of child development preferred
5. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
Physical Requirements
Physically capable of lifting, guard, transferring, and maneuvering patients of all sizes and weights utilizing assistance or special equipment as needed on a recurring basis in a safe manner in treatment areas.
Manual dexterity and visual acuity to safely apply all necessary modalities and operation of equipment.
Other information: Must be available 10 am to 7 pm Monday - Friday. Hours: 30-35 hours per week.
