Join Our Team as a Classroom Support Manager!
Early Childhood Academy is not just a daycare—we are a dynamic learning community committed to quality early childhood education. We are seeking a Classroom Support Manager to provide curriculum training, implementation support, behavior guidance, and Parent Aware assistance across both our New Prague and Belle Plaine locations. New Prague will serve as the home base, with most hours spent there (3-4 days per week) and one scheduled day at Belle Plaine, with flexibility for additional coverage as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in curriculum implementation, lesson planning, and classroom routines
- Provide behavior guidance and assist with Individual Child Care Program Plans (ICCPPs)
- Train and mentor staff on best practices, licensing requirements, and classroom management
- Oversee and support Parent Aware accreditation and program quality initiatives
- Serve as a third-in-command in the absence of the Director and Assistant Director
- Ensure compliance with DHS Rule 3, health & safety policies, and program standards
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and professional development for teachers
- Step into classrooms as needed for staff absences or ratio support
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-3 years of early childhood teaching experience in a licensed childcare center
- Strong knowledge of state licensing, curriculum development, and behavior management
- Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for mentoring educators and fostering a positive learning environment
- Required: Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a CDA
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of lead teaching experience
