What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Term Substitute - Preschool Teacher position at Early Childhood Programs?
•To cover position from March 12, 2025 – June 4, 2025 (dates are subject to change).
•Candidate must hold a valid Massachusetts License in Moderate Disabilities PreK–2 or PreK-8.
•Must fulfill all teacher responsibilities including designated conferences days/times, communication with parent/guardians (example: newsletters, phone calls, notes, e-mails, etc.)
•Teaches district approved curriculum.
•Demonstrates competencies in teaching as defined by the district's teacher’s evaluation instrument.
•Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
•Develops lesson plans and instructional material for individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student.
•Identifies students’ needs and makes appropriate referrals and develops strategies for individual students’ education plans and Section 504 plans
•Is available to students and parents for education –related purposed within the contractual work day.
