Early Childhood Resource Center in Canton, Ohio has an opening for an Early Childhood Specialist and Trainer.
The Early Childhood Specialist and Trainer will:
- Coach & support early childhood child care center infant/toddler teachers and administrators on-site with system building practices to improve quality such as: curriculum implementation, Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) requirements, lesson planning, meeting Ohio Department of Children and Youth (DCY), licensing requirements, etc..
- Train early childhood infant/toddler teachers in person and virtually
- Conduct infant/toddler teacher classroom observations and assessments
- Support Ohio Child Care Resource & Referral Association (OCCRRA) career pathways of early childhood educators
- Manage multiple grant components focused on increasing quality on infant/toddler experiences

Early Childhood Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Experience working in the early childhood field
- Familiarity with Ohio’s SUTQ & DCY child care licensing requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Zoom
