Afternoons Only Preschool Teacher Part-Time

We are currently seeking caring and compassionate candidates to work with children ages 3-5 in a preschool setting for our afternoon shift, 12:00 - 5:30.

Responsibilities Include:

· Combine a variety of education techniques to encourage learning. (Story time, circle time, group instruction, individual instruction, etc.)

· Encourage the development of life skills through play and exploration.

· Track children’s progress throughout the year to prepare them for Kindergarten.

· Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children.

Skills:

· Understanding of the principles of child development and early educational methods.

· Understanding of health and safety guidelines.

· Communication and instructional skills.

Requirements:

· 18 years or older

· High school diploma or GED

· Must be able to acquire or already have clearances (will help acquire if needed)

· Physical and TB test

· References of prior childcare experience
