What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher/Floater position at Early Enrichment?
We are currently seeking caring and compassionate candidates to work with children ages 6 weeks to 2 years old in the afternoons. Experience preferred but not necessary, willing to train the right candidate.
Early Enrichment is a privately owned daycare the prides itself on offering a home like atmosphere for children and staff alike. Friendly and flexible atmosphere, come join us, full-time and part-time positions are available.
Responsibilities Include:
· Combine a variety of early education techniques to foster growth through play.
· Encourage the development of motor skills and knowledge with daily activities.
· Changes diapers and assist with potty training.
· Track children’s progress throughout the year.
· Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children.
Skills:
· Understanding of the principles of child development and early educational methods.
· Understanding of health and safety guidelines.
· Communication and instructional skills.
Requirements:
· 18 years or older
· High school diploma or GED
· Must be able to acquire or already have clearances (will help acquire if needed)
· Physical and TB test
· References of prior childcare experience
