Preschool Teacher Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Preschool Teacher Assistant to support our lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will assist in classroom activities, supervise children, and foster their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods.
• Support children with daily routines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Encourage positive behavior and social development through guidance and modeling.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff about children's progress and needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or early childhood coursework preferred).
• Experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education.
