Education Coach

Primrose Schools® is a national system of accredited private preschools that provides a premier early education and child care experience for children and families. At Primrose we are more than a daycare, we provide year-round full-time and part-time education and care in Venice and surrounding areas for children starting at 6 weeks of age. Our nurturing environments and low teacher-to-child ratios allow us to get to know both your child’s interests and abilities to help maximize their potential.

Overview
Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; OR Child Development Associate™ (CDA) Credential, Department of children and families 45 hour requirements.

• A minimum of two years teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program • Must meet state licensing and Primrose training requirements

• Passion for serving others (teachers, families, and students)

• Coachable and able to coach every program within the childcare setting.

• Creative problem solver

• Takes initiative

• Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, and written)

• Ability to provide constructive feedback and advice to current and new staff

Solution and detail-oriented

• Strong classroom management, planning, and organizational skills( 2 years or more)

• Able to review information and assessment data and determine ways to improve instruction

• Collaborative leadership skills

• Willingness to continually learn and inspire others to learn through reflective feedback

Responsibilities:

• Passionately believes in and is able to communicate all aspects of the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to teaching and learning

• Creates a culture of engagement and continuous improvement

• Collaborates with other members of the Leadership Team to provide ongoing feedback for teaching staff, using a variety of tools such as the Teacher Observation Tool and student assessment data

• Works with teachers to identify strengths and areas of opportunity to design plans for continual improvement

• Coordinates with other members of the Leadership Team to implement the training plan for new teaching staff according to classroom-specific Continual Learning Guides

• Ensures teacher training requirements are up-to-date

• Conducts classroom observations to regularly support and ensure Balanced Learning® curriculum implementation and delivery

• Maintains confidentiality

This position is located in the Venice area for our new Primrose school.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
