What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Specialist position at Early Impressions Childcare Center?
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues using positive reinforcement techniques
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, such as nannying, daycare, or preschool experience is good, but NOT REQUIRED
- Knowledge of childhood development and behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and infant care, must be CPR certified within 30 days of hire
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for children
- Classroom management skills are a plus
