Our Early Intervention program is currently seeking a Physical Therapist to provide direct/indirect treatment interventions to infants and toddlers in center, community, and home-based settings. As a Physical Therapist in our Early Intervention Program, you will be responsible for:
•Protecting the rights and dignities of individuals with developmental disabilities and extending these rights and dignities to family members or guardians
•Providing service coordination, direct/indirect treatment interventions, and primary therapy to infants and toddlers to achieve goals in all necessary areas
•Functioning as a member of a trans-disciplinary team serving infants and toddlers with special needs and their families
•Participating in arena-style multidisciplinary evaluations as needed and providing documentation of interventions consistent with Early Intervention regulations
•Providing individual short or long term direct physical therapy treatment when indicated through consensus of the multidisciplinary team and written into the child’s IFSP
•Documenting all activities in accordance with own licensure regulations and requirements necessary for billing, agency policies, or early intervention regulations
•Providing formal training to parents and other members of the team in their area of expertise
•Providing supervision, consultation, or orientation to other physical therapists on the team as directed
•Performing other duties as directed by the supervisor or related to the organization's mission, goals, and operations
