The Orchard Farm School District is seeking a certified speech/language pathologist to join our team for the 2025 extended school year. Our mission is to empower each learner to excel in diverse communities.
Speech Pathologists are responsible for providing direct instruction to students and maintaining an environment conducive to learning. The job of a Speech and Language Pathologist is done for the purpose of identifying students with communication disorders; planning and implementing appropriate treatment to minimize adverse impact on student success.

Extended School Year Schedule & Pay
- July 7-July 31 (Monday-Thursday)
- Hours: 8:30-3:30
- $40.00/hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assesses students' communication to determine eligibility
- Collaborates with a variety of groups and/or individuals
- Knowledge of state standards, federal and state regulations
- Coordinates meetings and processes for eligible students
- Develops IEP's, interventions, and/or educational materials
- Instructs eligible students in the use of appropriate communication technologies
- Maintains files and/or student records, including attendance, progress on goals, and Medicaid
- Complete and submit forms and evaluations in a timely manner
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress and/or educational concerns
- Case-manage IEPS and work with staff to develop specialized programming
- Prepare individualized lesson plans for students and groups
- Prepares a wide variety of written materials for families, staff, and students
- Ability to problem solve and work in a collaborative team environment
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- MO Certification for Speech and Language
