Position: DayCare Bus Driver
Avid Management Resources is seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a DayCare Bus Driver. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday working a split shift in the morning and then a follow up shift in the afternoon. As a DayCare Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting children to and from our daycare facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a daycare bus in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and company policies
- Pick up and drop off children at designated locations, ensuring their safety at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized bus, conducting regular safety checks and reporting any maintenance issues
- Communicate with parents and daycare staff regarding any changes in pick-up or drop-off schedules
- Ensure all children are properly secured in their seats and follow all safety protocols
- Assist children with getting on and off the bus, providing any necessary assistance
- Maintain accurate records of daily pick-up and drop-off times and any incidents that may occur
- Attend regular safety training sessions and stay up-to-date on all relevant regulations and laws
- Collaborate with daycare staff to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation process
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact positively with children and parents
- Physical ability to assist children with getting on and off the bus and securing them in their seats
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must have a strong commitment to safety and responsibility
