What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool 2/3's Assistant Teacher position at Early Learning Childcare of Evergreen?
Duties
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children
- Use effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized support when needed
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's development and progress
Requirements
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
