Job Summary
We are seeking a teacher for our infant room. Someone who loves working with 6 weeks to 12 months. You will play a significant role in their life as a caregiver. You must be able to communicate effectively with parents and be able to assess and report on each child’s progress. You will be responsible for the care and education of infants in our school. In this position, you will create a safe and nurturing environment for infants to learn and grow. We have a very positive team here and would love to add to our team.
Responsibilities
- Attend to the physical and emotional needs of infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting
- Being able to handle 5 babies to yourself (KY State Ratio)
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Follow all state and federal regulations regarding infant care and education
- Follow a strict feeding schedule, diaper changing, and meet each individual babies needs
- Record on brightwheel throughout the day and messaging parents back in a timely manner
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred, not required.
- Experience in childcare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering positive relationships with children.
- High school diploma
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
