Job description
We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our team. We need an infant teacher and a one year old teacher who can work with another teacher, in a room with a total of 10 infants. The hours for this job is strictly 8am/9am - 5:30pm.
As an infant or one year old teacher you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a nurturing and educational environment.
Duties:
- Follow daily schedule and curriculum
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment for children to learn and play
- Provide individualized attention and support to students based on their unique needs --Helping them with washing hands, get into a daily routine, changing diapers, cleaning, and building a relationship with them
- Create a clean and safe environment
- Create a fun learning environment
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment
Requirements
- 3 years of experience working in childcare
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Available to work full time Monday-Friday
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability and want to follow all childcare state regulations and rules
