Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. Our one year old room is a 2 teacher room, can have 12 one year olds. We really need someone who understands how to manage a 1 year old room effectively. They are busy bodies and interested in everything, which is a job that keeps you on your feet all day. We need someone who can keep a classroom together while the one year olds are learning and playing.
Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Able to stay on your feet for 8 hours and keeping control of the classroom
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to education.
- Have patience and love for kids
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
Requirements
- 1 year minimum in a center setting with one year olds
- Able to work with a second teacher and communicate effectively
- Post on brightwheel throughout the day when a kid is changed, eating, napping, and any supplies needed
- TB Test
- High school diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
