Summary
Early Learning Tree is a small center located in Powell area of Knoxville looking for PreK teacher. Candidates must have experience in teaching and managing an early childhood classroom. We are looking for candidates that are as passionate about the growth, development, and curiosity of the precious children in our care.Our teachers must also have the ability to communicate well with parents and function as a team member with our staff.
This position requires a highly mobile person who is detail oriented and an efficient multi-tasker. We are looking for someone that will enjoy coming to work to play with children, develop lesson plans that inspire, be a good role model to our children and work well with staff. Duties
A teacher is responsible for caring for children, educating and developing young minds, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom.
- Manage needs of children in the classroom.
- Develop inspirational lesson plans that follow our center’s curriculum and TN-ELDs guidelines.
- Create an environment that invites children to learn every day.
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are followed and in compliance.
- Maintain frequent communications with parents.
- Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
- Maintain a clean and safe classroom.
- Maintain current required training.
- Other duties as needed - cleaning, maintenance, etc.
