Host

Located in Nopa, Early to Rise is San Francisco's fantastic newest brunch spot. We are a unique brunch destination in the Bay Area, featuring an old-school menu, but with all of our major staples made in the house. We are proud to make all of our own breakfast meats (bacon, ham, sausage, etc.), breads (bagels, English muffins and so on) as well as butter, hot sauce, jam ... you name it.

We treat every job in the restaurant as a craft to be proud of and seek to create a positive, energetic work culture. We have an immediate opening for a HOST to be the first point of contact of our restaurant! The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, the ability to make our customers feel welcome!

Do you have at least 6 months’ experience as a HOST in a full service restaurant? Are you highly organized and possess stellar customer service skills? Are you ready to embrace the frenetic energy of a popular brunch spot?

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage the waitlist efficiently
• Seat guests in a way that optimizes table turnover while ensuring a great dining experience
• Communicate wait times clearly and provide exceptional customer service
• Assist with takeout orders and phone inquiries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand
• Support the front-of-house team as needed to ensure smooth service
• Clean and re-set tables as a member of the FOH team

Requirements

• Weekend availability (Friday–Sunday) is required
• Prior experience as a host or in customer service is preferred
• Strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to stand for long periods and move efficiently in a busy space
