We are currently looking for a Full-Time Delivery Assistant in our Transportation Department! The Delivery Assistant is responsible for assisting the Route Delivery Driver in every aspect of product delivery to customer restaurants. The Delivery Assistant will contribute to excellent customer service through their attention to detail while following all company procedures and best practices in a safe and efficient manner.
Schedule : May include days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts. Schedules are determined by business needs and require flexibility within the first few months.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
The employee is required as needed to wheel product down trailer ramp and must frequently lift and / or move up to 55 pounds . While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, bend, stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, carry, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and use hands and fingers to grasp and feel. The employee may be required to work with hands and arms extended overhead. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to work varying hours as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
The Delivery Assistant will be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by the weather while working outdoors unloading trailer and is often exposed to very cold temperatures (-0 to -4F) while working in the restaurant cooler and freezer.
