What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Removal and Lawn Care Field Operations Supervisor position at Earth Development?
Service Partner/Field Operations Supervisor
(Commercial Snow and Ice Management/Lawn and Landscaping)
Are you an experienced snow and ice or landscaping service professional committed to “doing it right the first time”? Do you have exceptionally high-standards and love drawing a “little more” performance out of a service crew? Do you geek out on the latest industry equipment or techniques? Do you have a “do-whatever-it-takes” attitude and a great eye for detail? When the weather is wild and crazy, does it bring out the best in you? Do you revel in going the extra mile to delight a customer?
If that is you, have we got an opportunity for you!
For over 20 years, our team has been trusted by many of the world’s most recognizable brands. Our commercial snow and ice management services provide companies peace of mind knowing their day-to-day operations will not be affected by winter weather. And as a year-round partner in managing our clients’ facilities, we enhance their landscape beauty from spring to fall through professional lawn, landscaping, and parking lot maintenance as well. Our business is growing quickly, and we’re looking for a Field Operations Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in our continued growth.
This is a special opportunity for a special person. Each of our team members is unique -- we don’t need you to be a robot or be cookie cutter. We work as a team persistently pursuing perfection together, and we love recognizing and celebrating achievement. We aspire to be “intentional” -- we value conviction over simple convenience. We are people who have an attitude of gratitude, seek opportunities to be generous, are happy to step in and help each other, and who hold each other accountable. We work hard and have high expectations, but at the end of the day we are a family that sticks together and fights for each other.
As our Field Operations Supervisor, you’ll serve as the bridge and primary point of contact between Earth Development and our contracted snow and ice and landscaping service providers. Your focus will be assuring our Service Partners are aligned and operating in accordance with our clients’ expectations and Earth Development policy. You’ll also make sure our valued Service Partners are well cared for and enjoying their partnership with Earth Development. You’ll need to be comfortable operating independently in a dynamic work environment, and you’ll need the ability to build strong relationships.
This opportunity should provide a high amount of autonomy and flexibility and allow you to tailor your work to your preferences, dependent on your ability to produce. You’ll have a lot of input into how you structure your days and solve problems, so we would want you to be comfortable operating independently in a dynamic work environment. To be successful you will need the ability to build strong collaborative relationships – both within Earth Development and with your Service Partners.
We are long-term focused and values and ethics driven, and our dedicated professionals take pride in their work and having the knowledge to get the job “Done Right, the First Time, Every Time.”
