Production Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the facility.

Duties

• Assist in the assembly of products on the production line, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Operate and maintain various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Support fabrication processes by preparing materials and components for assembly.
• Work alongside experienced staff to learn mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Utilize forklifts for moving materials and products within the warehouse as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals, challenges, and improvements.

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes and warehouse operations is a plus.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively with hand tools and power tools for various production tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.

Pay: $17.16 - $21.04 per hour
