The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and possess the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock.
- Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Build and assemble product displays or pallets for shipping.
- Perform order picking duties to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all products are accounted for.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to improve operational processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating heavy machinery.
Skills
- Experience in a distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly.
- Proficient in operating order pickers and other heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
