Asphalt paver or roller operators

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled asphalt paver and Roller Operators to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to compact and smooth surfaces, primarily in asphalt paving and finishing projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site operations and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Duties

• Operate paver or roller equipment to compact asphalt surfaces for roads, parking lots, and driveways on construction projects.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with other construction personnel to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites, including the movement of materials and equipment as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment on-site.
• Engage in ordering asphalt or stone as required, ensuring proper techniques are used for effective results.
• Utilize commercial vehicles such as dump trucks for transporting materials to and from the site.

Experience

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with paving machinery And rollers.
• must know ASPHALT.
• Previous experience working on construction sites is essential, with a focus on paving or related projects.
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations is a plus, including the ability to operate commercial vehicles safely.
• Experience in digging and building processes related to construction projects will be beneficial.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
