Entry-Level Environmental Scientist / Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct groundwater and soil sampling, well installations, and site assessments across Florida and the southeastern U.S.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and equipment maintenance
• Assist senior project managers by entering data, creating tables, and preparing reports
• Work long hours outdoors in Florida’s year-round heat and humidity
• Report to and work from the Lantana, FL office when not in the field

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related STEM field
• Willingness to work from the Lantana, FL office
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach
• Comfortable working long hours in the field and traveling as needed
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must pass a drug test, and background check, and have a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with FDEP regulations and environmental compliance standards
• Experience assisting with Assessment and Remediation Reports
• Previous work with hazardous waste remediation projects
