What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enviro Field Tech / Laborer position at Earth Systems LLC?
We are looking for a full-time, permanent laborer/field technician. You will be working with a team that oversees environmental remediation tasks such as excavation, demolition, and general construction projects. This position is open to anyone with zero experience but is looking to gain a career as an entry-level technician.
Preferably you will have experience with roustabout work, clean up, or working outside in multiple conditions (this is a field position, you will have to work in all kinds of weather). Your day-to-day job differs, but for example, you can start your day assisting the Heavy Equipment Operators and then go hand-digging around tank batteries. You will have daily tasks that can cover anything from system monitoring to job site observation, and manual labor.
We are hiring for an immediate start (within 2 weeks) – All applicant’s hired will need to be in the immediate area on their start date.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy loads and perform manual labor as required.
- Preferred 2 years of oilfield experience.
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, as well as a background check.
- Understanding of workplace safety requirements and procedures.
- Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
- Time management skills.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability to push and pull loads up to 45 lbs.
