Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Great Earth West Hollywood. Maintains a calm demeanor, especially during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to Great Earth West Hollywood standard
• Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers cues.
• Delivers exceptional customer service to all customers; responds to customer needs in a timely manner.
• Follows Great Earth West Hollywood operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all members during each shift.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that other team members can locate products easily.
• Provides quality beverages consistently by adhering to all recipes.
• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance

Qualifications:

• Ability to move and or lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to quickly learn new procedures, processes, and product knowledge
• 1-2 years of experience in food/beverage environments making smoothies, and/or specialty beverages, or experience in retail and hospitality
• Barista, Nutrition, and Culinary education experience a plus!
• Must have (or obtain) a California Food Handlers License (i.e., ServSafe) prior to employment

Shifts:

• Part-time/Full-time
• Hours vary Monday-Sunday, early morning to evening shifts
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, with or without reasonable accommodation

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and hot & cold liquids. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay rate is $19.08 per hour plus additional tips
