Overview of Freelance Position :

As a freelance Graphic Designer - Marketing and Social Media, you will work with the Creative Director to understand client needs to bring their brand identity to life. Must be able to work creatively in a fast-paced environment and have excellent follow-through on all assigned projects, comfortable taking direction and being given feedback. Please note you do NOT need to know coding, this is strictly for graphic design and marketing materials.

Please note this is a freelance position at this time, we would be open to the idea of this person coming on full time but it will start as freelance.

Responsibilities :

Work with specific brands to understand their brand voice to create marketing and social media collateral.

Create brand specific decks and presentation designs.

Build marketing assets that are brand specific.

Create social media posts across platforms (must know how to create social media with motion).

Design brochures for brands that can be shared with clientele.

Brainstorm with creative team to develop design concepts, gather research and build mood boards.

Assist creative team members with projects and tasks as necessary.

Maintain, organize and update digital brand assets on server.

Ability to worksimultaneously on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Communicate with senior team members to receive feedback.

Liaising effectively with other departments.

Qualifications and Requirements :

Associate's or Bachelor'sDegree in Fine ArtDesign, Marketing, Graphics or related discipline

5 years of experience

Experience in creating for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, and other social media platforms.

Portfolio of design work

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Proficiency in Figma.

Fluent in Mac platform

Working knowledge of MS Office, Apple Keynote

Strong eye for design

Team player with strong communication skills & good attitude

Ability to pick up concepts and brand voice easily

Ability to learn on the job and adapt to work needs quickly and efficiently in fast-paced setting on multiple projects- agility and flexibility is key.

Time management skills & ability to meet project deadlines

The ability to see projects through from inception toproduction with excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

Good organizational skills that support the rest of the team

The motivation to maintain and improve design standards

The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve

Ability to present new ideas to team and management.
