Overview of Position:
Earthbound brands, a design and branding agency with offices in NY and Bentonville is seeking an innovative junior copywriter who can use words and concepts to reach consumers and tell the brand’s story. The junior copywriter is responsible for writing and editing copy across all digital and print platforms, but primarily packaging. Ideas need to be fresh, strategic and always on-brand. The role requires a deep understanding and thoughtful application of content strategy combined with an aptness of writing and grammar principles. The junior copywriter will work closely with the design, creative and marketing teams to conceptualize copy content for campaigns across medium platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Work with design, creative and marketing teams to conceptualize and execute campaigns.
• Write and oversee copy for packaging, print and other platforms to ensure impact of messaging is achieved. Packaging and e-commerce is a priority.
• Write compelling copy that is based on research, brand standards and an understanding of target audiences.
• Ability to communicate brand’s voice through copy.
• Ensure that all copy is consistent across all platforms.
• Ability write exceptional copy, headlines, subheads, taglines and call to action.
• Meets with senior team member to present copy for review and feedback to ensure adherence to strategic focus and tone.
• Ability to think creatively.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communication, English, Journalism or related field.
•1-3 years of professional work experience.
• Writing samples.
• Excellent communications verbally and written.
• Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation as well as ability to write fluently.
• Great organization skills and detailed oriented.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 Depending on Experience
