Position Overview:
We are seeking a temporary Office Assistant to join our team and assist with various administrative tasks. This role involves supporting day-to-day office operations, answering phone calls, greeting clients, managing invoices, collecting payments, and helping with social media. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to multitask effectively, and have a friendly and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and provide general information to clients.
- Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Collect payments, record transactions, and assist with billing inquiries.
- Assist with maintaining and updating company social media accounts.
- Help with organizing and filing office documents and records.
- Assist with scheduling and confirming client appointments and meetings.
- Provide general administrative support to the office team as needed.
- Perform other office-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative or office experience is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Comfortable handling cash, credit card payments, and learning basic, industry-specific accounting software.
- Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30AM - 4:30PM
Compensation:
