What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Controller position at EarthGrid PBC?
About EarthGrid
EarthGrid, a public benefit corporation, is solving the biggest problems in infrastructure: fiber, power, and water. We’re utilizing plasma tech to bore an underground tunnel network to increase electricity transmission which enables the development of more clean power, and more fiber, including in underserved communities, increased access to clean water, and rapid movement of goods & freight…all underground.
Our plasma tech is 100x faster and 10x cheaper than traditional boring technology. We intend to become the largest owner of underground real estate in the world. Our mission is to help advance decarbonization through our technologies which do not utilize fossil fuels (electricity & air are the only inputs), ideally run on solar/wind power, use little to no water and no chemicals, lubricants, or drilling mud in the process, keeping our groundwater free of toxic contaminants.
EarthGrid is located in Point Richmond, CA, a short distance from Berkeley, San Francisco, and Marin County. We are a mission-driven company, tackling our planet’s biggest challenges one step at a time using cutting edge technology.
