About the position:The HR Assistant/Recruiter is to partner with the HR Manager. They post any job openings, organize interviews, and help process new employees. They may maintain recruiting metrics and may help research compliance to all Federal, State, Local laws and regulations. They will also help with employee documents, data entry and reporting, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee all stages of candidate experience including application, interviews, onboarding and communication.
- Partner with the HR Manager to manage external partnerships, key recruiting metrics, and develop a network of potential applicants.
- Keep file integrity and confidentiality.
- Create and update records as needed.
- Assist in office projects as needed.
- Partner with the HR manager for candidate sourcing strategy and maintain hiring needs.
- Coordinating onboarding, new hire orientations, and processing new hires.
- Maintain company I-9 records and conduct I-9 audits according to the current process.
- Schedule meetings/interviews in outlook mail.
- Serves in-office visitors by greeting, providing information and directing accordingly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Human Resources and/or recruiting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and HR databases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Strong sense of confidentiality.
