Earthley’s Quality Assurance Manager ensures that all of our raw materials, in process products, and finished goods meet our strict standards. The person also maintains and updates standards, ensures data accuracy, and oversees the QA team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set and uphold product quality standards that align with FDA requirements and internal values
- Maintain a BPR and BRL system to track all batches in detail
- Maintain standards for raw material quality and testing methods to ensure accuracy (with scientific justification for methods chosen)
- Set and maintain standards for finished product testing
- Maintain and update standards for in-process product testing
- Oversee the QA supervisor and leads
- Hire, fire, discipline, coach and develop QA leadership team members
- Ensure data accuracy
- Regularly audit quality data to ensure accuracy
- Update quality training or processes to improve data accuracy
- Oversee the data testing lab
- Set and maintain standards for lab results
- Ensure that batches are tested appropriately and regularly
- Makes decisions on large batch issues
Experience:
- 5 years in quality assurance
- 2 years of leadership experience
- Strong understanding of GMP and FDA requirements for dietary supplements
- Microsoft Excel and ERP software
