Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Safety & Compliance Manager to oversee the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of safety and compliance programs within our organization. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in safety management, specifically working with OSHA standards and compliance. The Safety & Compliance Manager will play a key role in ensuring that our workplace adheres to health and safety regulations and fosters a safe working environment across all operations.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Safety & Compliance Manager to oversee the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of safety and compliance programs within our organization. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in safety management, specifically working with OSHA standards and compliance. The Safety & Compliance Manager will play a key role in ensuring that our workplace adheres to health and safety regulations and fosters a safe working environment across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Weekly Safety Meetings: Present various safety topics to a group of people in a classroom style and handson approach.
- Create Safety Presentations/Content: Develop presentations, lesson plans, and various content for training purposes.
- Conduct Weekly Onsite Construction Safety Checks: Perform regular site safety inspections to ensure compliance and address hazards.
- Labor Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor regulations in accordance to local, state, and federal laws.
- CHRO Compliance: Work with HR to ensure compliance in accordance with state laws.
- Lead HandsOn Safety Trainings: Provide interactive, practical safety training sessions.
- PPE Purchasing & Inventory Management: Manage the procurement, distribution, and inventory of PPE for employees.
- Manage OSHA 300 and 300A Logs: Maintain and report OSHA injury and illness logs.
- Manage Internal Health & Safety Manual: Keep the health and safety manual updated with OSHA regulations and best practices.
- Lead Annual Safety Standdown: Organize the annual safety standdown to review safety priorities and protocols.
- Enforce Discipline Plan: Follow through with disciplinary actions when adherence to safety practices is not followed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, with specific experience in OSHA compliance and regulations.
- Proven experience in creating, implementing, and managing safety and compliance programs.
- Indepth knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety practices, and construction safety requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and lead safety initiatives across various departments.
- Proficiency with safety documentation, including OSHA logs, manuals, and incident reporting.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), or other relevant safety certification (e.g., OSHA 30hour or OSHA 500).
- Experience in construction safety is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with labor and CHRO compliance regulations.
