Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Safety & Compliance Manager to oversee the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of safety and compliance programs within our organization. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in safety management, specifically working with OSHA standards and compliance. The Safety & Compliance Manager will play a key role in ensuring that our workplace adheres to health and safety regulations and fosters a safe working environment across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Weekly Safety Meetings: Present various safety topics to a group of people in a classroom style and handson approach.
• Create Safety Presentations/Content: Develop presentations, lesson plans, and various content for training purposes.
• Conduct Weekly Onsite Construction Safety Checks: Perform regular site safety inspections to ensure compliance and address hazards.
• Labor Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor regulations in accordance to local, state, and federal laws.
• CHRO Compliance: Work with HR to ensure compliance in accordance with state laws.
• Lead HandsOn Safety Trainings: Provide interactive, practical safety training sessions.
• PPE Purchasing & Inventory Management: Manage the procurement, distribution, and inventory of PPE for employees.
• Manage OSHA 300 and 300A Logs: Maintain and report OSHA injury and illness logs.
• Manage Internal Health & Safety Manual: Keep the health and safety manual updated with OSHA regulations and best practices.
• Lead Annual Safety Standdown: Organize the annual safety standdown to review safety priorities and protocols.
• Enforce Discipline Plan: Follow through with disciplinary actions when adherence to safety practices is not followed.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, with specific experience in OSHA compliance and regulations.
• Proven experience in creating, implementing, and managing safety and compliance programs.
• Indepth knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety practices, and construction safety requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and lead safety initiatives across various departments.
• Proficiency with safety documentation, including OSHA logs, manuals, and incident reporting.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), or other relevant safety certification (e.g., OSHA 30hour or OSHA 500).
• Experience in construction safety is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with labor and CHRO compliance regulations.
  
  

Salary: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
