Earthscapes, Inc is expanding and is seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Designer who is passionate about plants, understanding of design, appreciates quality, and has an excitement to work with a variety of clientele in the Sioux Falls South Dakota surrounding area.
As a Full Time Designer, you will work directly with customers to create designs that elevate their outdoor space. You must have good plant knowledge, experience in residential design, and excellent communication skills. Designers manage their own schedules, work independently, but also collaborate with other Designers as needed for pricing and design reviews. Our clients expect the best, and our designers are expected to design landscape designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but are functionalable and stay within budget with the estimate that was given. This canadite will be required to oversee the project, their installation crew, and monitor and log any changes that occur during the installation process, and maintain in communication with the client.
The Qualifications:
- 2 years working in landscape
- Bachelors degree in landscape preferred
- You have previous experience in a landscape design field with a motivation to learn new design techniques
- You're able to meet challenging deadlines and juggle multiple projects at once
- You can work independently and make sound customer service decisions
- You can clearly and concisely communicate your ideas in a verbal and written manner
- You are all about the customer experience and the design process
- You're highly skilled with time management and multi-tasking
- You're excited about working in a startup environment, driving results and making an impact
Landscape Designer responsibilities include lead generation and client management, scheduling onsites and design returns, coordinating with and transitioning jobs to construction teams for build, presenting plans to clients, and material sampling and selection with clients.
