Position : Construction Project Manager - Transmission & Distribution
Job Summary :
The Construction Project Manager supports the EPC Project Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations from pre-construction to project completion. Key responsibilities include managing project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, and client relations for various construction projects. The role involves project planning, estimating, cost development, and risk reviews.
Key duties :
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities and successful execution of one or multiple projects.
- Develop project plans for site layout, mobilization, and demobilization.
- Negotiate contracts, manage change orders, and oversee subcontractor selection.
- Monitor safety & quality performance and train project teams.
- Review and approve project reports including budgeting, cash flow forecasts, and status updates.
- Ensure compliance with permits, insurance, and legal requirements.
- Mentor and train staff, providing performance feedback to department managers.
Qualifications & Skills :
The role requires 50% travel and is based in Houston, TX, with positions also in Fort Worth and Dallas.
