What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Groomer position at EarthWise Pet Supply & Grooming?
- Perform grooming services to breed standards and pet parent’s preferences
- Always ensure the safety and well being of pets under their care
- Develop long-term relationships with pet parents by engaging and educating our guests in a warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere
- Become familiar with and understand retail products carried by Earthwise Pet
- Learn and understand Earthwise Pet loyalty, savings programs, and monthly promotions
- Learn and understand Earthwise Pet point of sale and scheduling system and daily procedures
- Maintain grooming area cleanliness and organization
- Attends store meetings and trainings
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Positive, helpful attitude
- Passion for pets
- At least 2 years of full time grooming experience
- Inquisitiveness and desire to learn
- Promotes a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and educating other team members. Engages with team members in a positive, professional, and supportive manner
- Highly accountable and has integrity
- Competent with basic math, comfortable using computers
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
