JOB TITLE: PET HEALTH AMBASSADOR
About You: You are a professional and motivated individual who is able to provide an outstanding and unique customer experience. You are passionate about pets, therefore you like to be around pets and their people! You are concerned with and motivated by providing healthy preventative options for pets! You are eager to inform customers about EarthWise Pet products and services and how they may help improve the life of their dog or cat. You are able to complete daily sales transactions with accuracy and integrity. You are eager to be a contributing part of the EarthWise Pet retail team, including daily tasks and product stocking not related directly to customer interaction.
Pet nutrition education will be provided!

Your Experience:
- You have specialty retail experience and/or experience in a fast paced work environment.
- You have experience working as a team member.
- You have experience in the Pet industry and handling animals.
- You have the sales and customer service skills.
As a Pet Health Ambassador, your responsibilities may include:
- Greet and interact with clients - come out from behind the counter for conversation.
- Provide complete product knowledge and solutions
- Pair Supplements with food purchases
- Have knowledge in ailments & disease in order to provide the best product recommendation.
- Advocate for the health and well being of dogs and cats in a holistic manner
- Have personal experience with products and your own pets.
- Interact with Vets, organizations and groups throughout the community.
- Process each transaction with accuracy and observe details.
- Stock retail shelves in the morning, mid-day and evening.
- Unpack products, sticker and re-ticketing when price changes occur
- Complete daily tasks listed out.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Participate in special events when needed.
- Organize and maintain product placement.
- Attend staff meetings
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
