Duties

• Perform bathing services for a variety of pets, including dogs and cats, according to breed standards and client preferences.
• Provide bathing, drying, brushing, ear cleaning, gland expression, teeth cleaning and nail trimming services with precision and care.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process, including handling and restraint techniques.
• Communicate effectively with pet parents to understand their grooming preferences and address any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming equipment, workstations, and salon environment.
• Adhere to salon policies and procedures.
• Aid others as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience is required.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for pets and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pet parents and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work part-time or full-time hours based on appointment volume and salon needs.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required.

Pay

• Hourly wage with possibility of promotion. $15 per hour up to 30 hours per week starting.
