The Position: Lead Retail Associate

Earthwise Pet in Exton is seeking an experienced Lead Retail Associate to assist the owner and lead in the retail operations. The Lead Retail Associate will have day-to-day responsibility for the customer’s “entry-to-exit” experience, pet satisfaction, inventory control, purchase orders, store appearance, assisting with social media and marketing promotions, as well as opportunities to grow with the business!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support all aspects of retail operations including opening and closing as needed
• Provide an exceptional "entry to exit" customer experience
• Manage administrative functions of the store such as product inventory, purchasing inventory and supplies, and analyzing store performance.
• Train and mentor new retail employees in the store operations
• Help organize and coordinate special events and marketing promotions utilizing social media platforms
• Communicate with the Owner on all aspects of store operations

Skills & Qualifications:

• Passion for extraordinary customer service, building lasting relationships, and the well-being of pets
• Previous experience with retail sales and customer relationships is required
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including afternoon/evening and Saturday shifts
• Time management and organizational skills in a fast paced, multiple priority environment
• Ability to move merchandise up to 50lbs.
• Store hours: M-F 10:00a – 7:00p; Sat 10:00a – 5:00p; Sun Closed

Additional Requirements:

• Available to work consistently throughout the year
• 12-25 hours per week, including most Saturdays
• Previous retail or customer service experience is necessary

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week
