Nurse Practitioner Job Description
Overview
As Dr. Byrd begins to focus on his Earwell practice, he foresees the need to train a Nurse Practitioner, as an additional member of his team. The Nurse Practitioner will share responsibilities with Dr. Byrd and collaborate in the care of newborns with the Earwell device. The Nurse Practitioner will also provide independent comprehensive treatment and in office application of the Earwell device.
As a part-time nurse practitioner, you would be expected to work every Thursday in our Dallas location from 9 am to 12 pm, with the potential to extend to 5 pm. You will be responsible for covering Friday's emergency visit. If no patients are scheduled on Fridays, you will receive a $50 compensation for being available. You will also be paid at least 3 hours if called in on Fridays.
The provider will also be responsible for sharing the weekend on-calls. Note: Once growth begins, you will also be scheduled to work on Tuesdays in Dallas from 9 am to 12 pm, with the possibility of extending the time to 5 pm.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess the following:
- Pediatric experience a plus but not required.
- Bilingual a plus but not required.
- Independent Patient Assessment Skills
- Team Player
- Comfortable around computers, since you will be using one all the time.
- High attention to detail
- Must have your NPI
- Must have completed CAQH
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and team-oriented behavior; have mutual respect for management and team members; partner with team members to create an exceptional experience for each and every patient. Be punctual, dependable, goal oriented, and able to receive constructive coaching.
