Calling all ARTISTS! We are hiring, and want you to join our creative team!
ART INSTRUCTOR:
You will be teaching our step-by-step painting classes in studio, helping our customers learn about art techniques and improving their skills. This is an exciting and unique job where you get to share your love of art with others. We want you to put on a good show, make it FUN to learn art and leave your class wanting to come back for more events! Our instructors are also entertainers, great with people and crowds, love to work with kids and adults of all ages, and aren’t afraid to crack a joke while teaching. Special consideration is given to instructors with prior teaching experience. These classes are meant for beginners, and are tailored for people wanting to try art in a fun, easy environment. Instructor assignments include:
-teaching a painting step by step in a group setting
-setting up before class and cleaning up afterwards
-answering business and art related questions for walk-in customers and over the phone
-drawing templates on canvases
-other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service, patience, teaching ability, painting ability, and positive and respectful demeanor towards customers, other employees and management at all times through their employment.
- We are looking for a part time Instructor to work weekends and possibly a weeknight, and are flexible with schedules. We are located in West Jordan, UT and are seeking local Utah applicants only please. We work mainly with Acrylic.
