MUST HAVE PREVIOUS PARALEGAL EXPIERENCE
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and pleadings
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare correspondence and communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Transcribe dictations and prepare summaries of legal documents
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management systems
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using document management systems and other software applications relevant to the field
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with contract law is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
