Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Compensation: $240,000 - $275,000 Base Salary Bonus Equity

Position Overview
We are seeking an execution-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy and operational finance across the organization. The CFO will partner with the CEO and private equity sponsors to drive performance improvement, scale operations, and support both organic growth and acquisition integration. This is a high-impact opportunity for a finance leader to shape the trajectory of a value-driven manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Lead development of financial strategies aligned with operational performance goals and PE value creation plans.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, offering financial insight and capital allocation guidance.
Operational Finance Oversight
- Oversee accounting, FP&A, cost accounting, treasury, and tax functions, with a focus on manufacturing operations and plant-level performance.
- Implement strong cost control and margin analysis frameworks.
Private Equity Partnership
- Act as the lead financial contact with private equity sponsors, providing robust reporting, dashboards, and strategic insights.
- Support board meeting preparation, debt covenant tracking, and exit planning.
Performance Optimization
- Improve financial visibility and operational metrics, focusing on EBITDA expansion, working capital efficiency, and inventory management.
- Implement manufacturing-focused KPIs across plants and facilities.
Forecasting & Budgeting
- Lead the annual budget and rolling forecasts process across the enterprise.
- Build models to analyze raw material costs, throughput efficiency, and production scalability.
M&A and Integration
- Manage all financial aspects of acquisition evaluation, diligence, and integration.
- Develop scalable systems and processes for future add-ons.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team that supports operations and drives accountability.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit readiness, and regulatory requirements (including GAAP and cost accounting standards).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
- 15 years of progressive finance experience, including 5 years in a CFO or senior finance role within a PE-backed manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, including standard costing, inventory controls, and plant-level P&L management.
- Experience with ERP systems, operational dashboards, and reporting automation.
- Proven track record of partnering with PE sponsors, improving margins, and driving enterprise value.
