The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, implement best practices, and collaborate with senior leadership to support the company’s growth and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards, maintaining strong internal controls.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights to senior leadership for decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic financial planning.
- Lead and support financial audits, working closely with external auditors to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure tax compliance by managing tax filings and other regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or senior accounting professional.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience managing month-end close processes, financial statements, and audits.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Base salary ranging from $130,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
